Nvidia GTX 670
« on: May 10, 2012, 01:39 PM »
They were just released today. If you have 400 to spend on a graphics upgrade, this card has blown everything away at this price point.

I just picked one up today.

Get one soon if you are going to get one, as prices will inflate, and stocks will shrink quickly.

Holy shit, that thing is fast...  :o

Will look into getting one of these when I build a new gaming rig at the end of the year.

Meh, I've seen that chart, and its produced by nvidia themselves. Gotta take it with more than a grain of salt.

I've been waiting since Janurary to buy a new card, waiting over 4 months was enough for me ;D

I hear they are coming out with a killer card in 2015 too. Might as well wait til then.  ::)

We'll see. If you notice in that chart Fermi -> Keplar was supposed to be more than double, but it isn't in actual benchmarks. Not even close.

And Keplar was supposed to be 2011, and they are just now becoming available. May 2012 and they only have 3 models out, a 1000$ a 500$ and 400$. Not even the mainstream cards yet.

Trust me bud, now is the time to buy if you have anything older than a gtx 4xx or radeon 5xxx and are looking for a significant upgrade.
