My wife has a dps sage... I decided to play her char a bit this weekend to give me a chance to play around with deeps instead of heals without respec'ing Apos...

I pugged an SM EC... Took over two hours to get past Firebrand/Stormcaller..., the two melee dps we had were so bad, that we had to put 3 dps on Toth and Stormcaller, leaving me as solo dps in both encounters, and Zorn/Firebrand STILL died first, and i was taking the spikes/pillars since the healer couldnt do it...... Poor Heli.. Came in to tank Vorgath, and every time he set a mine to be defused, no one ever defused it!!!!!!!!! Happened on two different attempts... People don't listen.

Then I did a HM KP... Took two pugs to do it, because I couldn't find anyone capable of doing the puzzle at Fabricator...

There is some serious "quality" out there... Ugh

Just as i was about to give up on pugs i had a really great pug TFB last night followed by a solid PUG healer in LI HM.  But yeah, it was a long bad spell before that.

Seems like you set your self up for failure in these groups. Gonna have to put your foot down if you're gonna pug something or just leave the group to avoid the annoyance.

I know Eum... But I try to approach pugs with an attitude of understanding, that some people just aren't going to be good at what they do. I will turn people away if they are drastically under geared, but aside from that, I will do everything I can to talk them through the encounters. Sometimes I get people that will listen and learn, and sometimes I get boneheads who won't, or tanks that can't hold aggro (I watched Fabricator run clear across the room last night) or dps that can barely put out 600.... That's when I get frustrated, but I have this mental block that keeps me from ragequitting...

I know I am not the most elite healer or dps, I'm better than most, and not as good as some... But the general quality of players I see in a lot of pugs just makes me want to cry sometimes.

lol thats why I avoid pugging. I used to do it when I was in Life Day then I said screw that after a while. And now after playing with LD50 people where we get shit done in a timely manner I have no tolerance for pugs who are slow and don't know how to play their class properly. I would rage hardcore if I was in a pug lol.

None. The only good Imperial player anymore is Gilgamesh. The rest are all garbage.

well maybe if people see this they'll log on for a game.  Me and soulfalcon will be checking things out periodically throughout the day.  It would be nice to see if we can get some old school people to come on.    Maybe illum will be a popular option for people who want valor but aren't subscribed.

Come on now, lets be serious.  Uncensored is good and there are a couple of other guild that are decent.
