I'm not sure what DC did, but if you are referring to the rapid expansion of the movie MCU, the Infinity Gauntlet has been hinted at as far back as the first Thor movie and everything has been moving this direction since they branched out from Iron Man

I'm not saying they haven't. What I am saying is that earlier DC got Warner Bros. to openly announce the names of the next 10 films they have planned coming out. Mostly just Justice League stuff.

yeah, everyone has been doing that lately, even Star wars has like an 8 year plan or something crazy like that.

Marvel already had dates Jenk they just hadn't slotted movies into those dates. In fact when Marvel released it's dates D/C changed up some of theirs because they would be directly competing the the juggernaut that is the MCU.

I really like the new leads they choose, Marvel keeps getting it right. Rudd, Cumberbatch, and Chadwick Boseman are good actors for the parts they got. Now I cant wait to see who they get to play Black Bolt and I hope they use the Carol Danvers version of Captain Marvel.
