Happiness is when you play a game so well that people call you a hacker.

There are two types of people in the world, those who can extrapolate from incomplete information.

I got a copy of the swtor encyclopedia and i gotta say a movie set in the early days (pre kotor through swtor) has amazing possibilites.  The lore and history could lead to a truly epic set of movies.  Hell, the central story of swtor could make a hell of a movie.  The rise and fall of malgus, the hero of alderaan with sateel and jace malcom, the fall of the emperor, the release of revan, even the return of the sith are all pretty epic.

A trilogy adaptation of the KOTOR games.  Drew Karpyshyn writes the story, Wheddon does the screenplay and directing.  Christian Bale as Revan, Nathan Fillion as Carth Onasi, HK-47 CG or whatever with the same voice actor, any two hot chicks as Bastilla and the Handmaiden.  Danny Glover as Jolee Bindo.

Leave Mission and Zalbaar out, too many characters already.  T3-M4 is a must.

Pretty strongly worded article, and considering I grew up in Middle/High School reading everything Star Wars EU, I'd have to agree. Having had time to read a wider variety of stuff, the vast majority of EU is garbage. I particularly like the snark against Kevin J. Anderson, as I used to worship him when I was 12. It will be interesting to see what they keep and what they toss. I think there are some characters worth saving, but gutting most of their plots wouldn't be terribly remiss. Looking at Han and Leia's kids specifically on that one.

Actually it isn't really the opposite article.  They are simply talking about the same topic from two different perspectives.   They are going to hammer out what IS, and what IS NOT canon...  however it doesn't mean that they are destroying ... Mara Jade, for example.   It just means they are going to hammer it out somehow.

Appropriately it seems, a Reddit user posted his painting of Bastila Shan from KoTOR. Pretty baller work.

Painting looks amazing, interested in seeing what happens with the SW Cannon.

Sucks that it took me so long to remember the difference between Bastila and Satele, in spite of all the giveaways in that painting. Yellow sabrestaff? Obvs.

My SW fandom pales in comparison to some in this crowd. It's really pretty limited to the original trilogy and a select few video games. So honestly, I don't mind this. If the Mouse can avoid doing more damage to the franchise than the prequel trilogy has done, I'm on board.
