My guardians dps spec on 2.0 currently is... Tank spec w/ deeps gear.

A work in progress with a lot of those allocations in the Vig/focus tree tbd. The amount of team utility is retarded for a dps, as is survivability. Most importantly is that can bring a good amount of deeps. The highest hitter, Guardian Slash, itself does a little less than Overhead slash in the Vig tree, BUT it makes up for it by procing riposte (which increase our dodge by 5%) AND it hits 4 more targets in range for the same amount as the initial blow.

Vig will do more damage on a dummy for sure, but even with unremitting staying glued to a target seemed impossible when I was playing it, and I don't have much of a problem doing that on live, plus being able to hard stun a healer as he tries to run away helps... a lot.

Utility:
Self
Warding Call
2 seconds more saber reflect (also offensive) - Got a sniper to kill himself with a 9k aimed shot
60% more armor (tank stance)
Reduced CD of saber ward
5% Defense on riposte (procs on GS)
Blade barrier.

Raid
On smash - 20% armor reduction and 5% reduced accuracy
Stuns/interupt - 2 hard stuns on 1 min and the other on 45sec CD, Push on 45 sec CD, Leap finishes CD on kick.
Taunts add a shield that mitigates damage
AoE slow
Can toss guard when needed - Or to get that movement increase buff (as I said spec tbd)

That was the only game I got to play due to crappy queues - We should have a pvp pts day, and play against each other. I want you to see that 58k healing... That was probably between my blade barrier bubble, and the taunt bubble we get.

With the changes coming to PVP, what do you see as the ones that will affect the game the most?

The biggest thing looked like the ttk, which is the main reason why I would go with a spec like this. That said, the pts may not be quite an accurate representation of what live will look like as there was probably a big gear disparity.

It also seems like staying in range of targets is also going to be a major pain with pretty much every class getting a snare/sprint kind of ability. Getting a MS off as vig was pretty difficult.
