Tickle Me Elmo!
« on: Nov 20, 2012, 11:08 PM »

I'm shocked at the idea that the creator of a sexually ambiguous, immaturely voiced puppet that giggles no matter where you touch it... Oh, wait. You mean to tell me no one saw this coming? Three decades to prepare for it, and they give us this:

Quote from: Sesame Workshop
Elmo is bigger than any one person
Does that mean they employ lots of pedophiles?

Quote from: Hasbro
We are confident that Elmo will remain an integral part of Sesame Street and that Sesame Street toys will continue to delight children for years to come.
Of course this whole "delight children" thing is from the same company that thought it would be a good idea to name a Transformer after a double ended dildo, so... There's that.

Happiness is when you play a game so well that people call you a hacker.

There are two types of people in the world, those who can extrapolate from incomplete information.

Proof that counters your belief that Elmo is actually created and developed by an actual human being, and not a demented, mind-altering possessed demon from Hell inhabiting the mechanical body of an inanimate object beloved by children everywhere that interacts with them on a daily basis:

That was funny and sad to watch at the same time.  Sad mostly because it always pains me to see people purposely abuse/destroy technology like that.  Like yeah I get it, it's an Elmo toy, but it's still made of complicated electronics and shit and is advanced technology in its own right.  And seeing that stuff abused and destroyed in such a way is sad to me.  But it was still pretty funny to watch Elmo burn.
And I disappear, a ghost admidst the combat, preparing to strike.
It was your own fault; You should have paid attention and looked through the lie.
A most confused death, dead before he even knew where I struck from.
Farewell foolish thing.  Know that you have been deceived, as your soul moves on.
