Control wizard is pretty fun so far. The dps isn't the best but cc chaining mobs until they die is amusing.

I've been playing a Dwarf Cleric on Mindflayer. Pretty fun so far. PvP is hella boring tho, I'm hoping it opens up a bit once I get to a more respectable level.

Looks poor.

I imagine PvP would be slow paced and boring.
I'll stick to TOR!

Did someone seriously delete my post pointing out Civ's comment? Truth hurts?

Well, considering you and Moji usually post the same thing at the same time, we can infer what you said from his post I guess.  All Civ did was state his opinion, and Moji made a sarcastic comment towards it to try and contradict it.  There's no right or wrong opinions, "stop liking what I dont like", etc etc.  If the entire point of the post is just to say someone's opinion is wrong, you should probably just not post.

In my original post I was just simply implying to him that coming into this thread posting something like that without the slightest intention of actually attempting to try the game while having zero perspective is just asinine.

Any way you look at it this has been about as petty as it gets.  :-\

Can't imagine why a post like that would get deleted; it's totally true.  Videos can only do so much for an MMO, the best way to make the judgment call is to try it for yourself.  No matter how bad an MMO looks, I would always at least try it before ruling it out.

Got mine installed and patch over the night, finish an hourish of work then rolling a trickster or cleric, unsure yet. All PvP vids seem to have 0 clerics cause no health gen other then pot pick ups, other hand I want a break from tank/heal roles.

Edit: Damned server  be down when i get home. figures  :-\

I started really playing it today (and by really playing it I mean putting like an hour or two of playtime in). I do love the game but after relent and moji telling me that the F2P system is god awful I am pretty sad. The game is really well done and the combat is interesting at least atm :P.

I do love D&D and I think this is a nice service for the D&D lovers out there. At the same time I feel that D&D was made to stimulate the imagination and any game like this just takes away from that aspect. Still a great game none the less though I wish that each race was more unique looking. If you go through the faces on each race they all look very similar.

after a few hours of gameplay, Im enjoying this much better then TOR or GW2. While yes the PvP may not be the same pace as the other two, the 5v5 has potential. I ended up getting into a decent premade group andI could only imagine what a group from LD50 or beer30 could doon such a game. If PWE decides to release a ranked version, I could see it working much better then TOR's ranked do to the mega serve merge they plan to do soon.

Then there is things called Skirmishes, kind of 15 min wave attack with final boss at end that is pretty enjoyable for quick run throws. Tried to queue for dungeon but being a DPS I never hit the queue before PvP one popped. Also havnt had a chance to do crafting because I dont personally enjoy crafting that much in any game.

All in all, I like the neverwinter and probably play it more the TOR.e
